The Bar Code was founded in 2003 by Whitney Roberts, a licensed California attorney, Adjunct Law Professor, and former Bar Exam Grader. It began as a private, one-on-one tutorial based in Northern California, and quickly grew to a statewide program of live classes and workshops. In 2010, in response to the growing demand for internet education and affordable learning, the entire Bar Code methodology was reduced to portable study aids.
