Baby Bar Exam/FYLSX Essay Intensive

The Baby Bar Exam (aka First Year Law Students' Exam) Intensive is a substantive two-day course offered on May 31 and June 1, 2008 in Anaheim, California. It is taught entirely by former bar graders of Torts, Contracts and Criminal Law bar exams.

The Baby Bar Exam/FYLSX Intensive includes:

Two days of lectures*
Detailed feedback on six essays
Two hours of private tutorial sessions with a tutor and former bar grader.

During the two days of lectures, students will spend approximately 3-4 hours on each subject. Each segment includes a review of the substantive law and interactive issue-spotting exercises. The latter half of the second day will be a grading exercise designed to help students understand the scoring system of the Baby Bar Exam.

* Enrolled students who have not previously attended the regular Essay Writing Workshop (which covers the technical side of exam writing) are invited to attend a FREE version of it in Anaheim on May 28, 2008. It is advisable to attend this class before sitting through the Intensive. Students who want to attend just the workshop on May 28 can do so for a discounted promotional rate.
